Skyrim first person animations mod mod#
So unhappy that I've decided to not play the game until a travel service mod shows up, of which I'll try and help making. I for one is really really really unhappy about the OB fast travel being in. It's a tough situation, but we should be lucky Skyrim will be moddable. If we were to take account to one of them, those who like the feature would complain a lot, and those who didn't get their disliked features "fixed" would get jealous and blame at Bethesda for it. If we were to take account to all of them, the game would pretty much be ruined. There are different opinions about a lot of things for various of reasons. I'm not sure).īut finally, as Luke Skyrimmer said. You could also play in 3rd person (although I personally don't like 3rd person, you might. So that's probably the best solution for the OP (wait for a mod), if the bobble-head effect is too much. In addition, one can almost always mod pretty much anything out. We also got to understand that Bethesda obviously know a lot more of the game than we do, and therefore we only see a fraction of the real situation. They are a part of the game and Bethesda finds them right and proper. Despite this, some things are meant to stay. I saw dozens of comments about it I remember. It seemed to me, as I said before, that a lot of people were afraid of spiders. But if it's a lot of people, things may change, but not always. Normally, Bethesda nor any other gaming company wouldn't do anything about this as long as it's a few people. People have personal thoughts, personal injuries (I'm not sure in what way you have this injury, OP, but I'm sorry that you have it and hope it gets better), personal fears, etc etc etc. What did Bethesda respond (I think on twitter), that spiders were here to stay. This is a distinction that some of you who don't have this problem seem to be dismissing out of hand.įor instance, there seemed to be a lot of people saying they were afraid of spiders and many threads about it. But if it HURTS you, its an issue for the company. The psychological content is addressed by someone's own research, and the rating on the game. It falls into the same category as seizure causing strobes in being a physical effect, whereas spiders fall into the category of being psychological content.

As we've been talking about, I'm not the only person in the world by any stretch whatsoever that the head bobbing would be an immediate physical problem for. If something can make people sick, the company has to take that into account and at the least put warning labels on it. The relationship is not psychological, but directly physical. The head bobbing is not content but a visual effect. Phobias don't fall into this category, as this relates to content. Myke013 had a good point that if it causes physical pain or illness it has to have a warning on the game about it. which people either have a fear, sickness, or extreme dislike for. Then you should be fine with Bethesda removing mountains, water, dark areas, spiders, all monsters, blood, animals, etc. While this doesn't solve the problem you mentioned, the good news is you most likely will not be sprinting as much as you will be walking and running. The gameplay you are referring I believe is depicting the character in sprint mode. The devs have mentioned that there is a new "sprinting" feature in Skyrim which is distinct from both walking and running. No matter how good the rest of the game is, I for one will be forced to pass on this game if the camera bebops around for just walking and running.īefore anyone goes into the "I" word with this, yes, your head actually bobs up and down when you walk and run, but two things: 1) Since you the human aren't actually bobbing up and down with the camera, the stimuli of the incoming visuals do not match the state your actual head is in, causing sickness to some and 2) Even though you do bob around when you actually walk, your vision corrects for this and it doesn't feel like you are bobbing around when you actually walk. I was not able to use Deadly Reflex 6 in Oblivion because of the camera bobbing up and down, it makes me seasick and gives me a migraine.

If it does PLEASE tell me that this can be turned off. Please tell me that the camera doesn't realistically bob up and down relative to the PC's head from walking and running. In re-watching the gameplay footage, I noticed during the portion where there is running in first-person through the forest, the camera was bobbing up and down.
